EA Sports Canada has revealed a new trailer for the upcoming NHL 12 this September. The game will feature all new goalie animations and even goalie fights. Players will be able to knock the net off its post as well as players helmets flying off after a big hit. At a pre-E3 event today, Warner Bros and developer Monolith Productions (FEAR 1 & 2, Condemned, NOLF) announced a new downloadable arcade title called, Gotham City Imposters. 2k Games has announced that The Darkness 2 will be releasing this Fall on October 4th.  Development of the game is being controlled by Digital Extremes who took over the reigns from Starbreeze Studios, who were the makers of the original title.

TimeGate Studios, the original developers behind the first Section 8 have returned to give the game its sequel. This time around, the game has managed too be released at a more attractive price point and offer more features then its predecessor. Is it enough to make it worth the full download? Nintendo announced this morning that they will be officially dropping the price of the Nintendo Wii console after a few weeks of rumors had been circulating through various retail outlets. As of May 15th, the Nintendo Wii will drop to a new price of $149.99 and will come bundled with Mario Kart Wii and Wii Wheel accessory. The new price applies to both black and white systems. It appears that shipments have surpassed 2.6 million units worldwide since launch in March. It’s looking like the publisher will be looking towards developing a sequel. Microsoft has just announced a scheme that will let Gears of War 3 beta players invite friends to share the shotgun-fest. Everyone who has played at least one game in the beta will receive a “buddy token”, that will allow an Xbox Live friend access to the beta. US users will also have other opportunities to invite their chums. The following actions will get you another token:
