We’ve got a few new trailers for you coming up today. The first being a new Battlefield 3 trailer coming from EA and DICE. This new trailer focuses on a sniper compromising your position on top of a skyscraper in the city. You and your team move into cover to draw him out and take him out. Batman: Arkham City will hit store shelves in North America October 18th. Australia on October 19th, along with Europe and all other territories on October 21st for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

It’s not even been a year since the Kinect has been launched and already the unit has reached 10 million shipped worldwide to date. In a nod to this announcement as well, the Guinness World Records has named the Kinect sensor the fastest selling consumer electronics device. A new title coming out of the world of Lord of the Rings will be hitting store shelves soon. The new action-rpg runs parallel to the LOTR storyline and introduces new characters as well. Warner Bros is heavily touting this game as the bloodiest Lord of the Rings title yet. We shall see as the game will hit stores later this year for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3

Apple boss Steve Jobs has finally officially announced the iPad 2 at a press conference in San Francisco. The tablet will be released on 11th March in the US and 25th March in 26 more countries. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be released in June for the 3DS. He didn’t confirm whether that was a worldwide date or just for North America during his Game Developers Conference keynote. “Last year marked the 25th anniversary of Super Mario, this year it’s the 25th of Legend of Zelda,” said Iwata.

Nintendo has just released this rather exciting GDC 2011 trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It’s looking pretty exciting, but as they say: the proof will be in the pudding.

Nintendo head honcho Iwata-San today announced a brand new 3D Mario game. It will be released on the Nintendo 3DS, and is currently in development at the same team that developed Super Mario Galaxy (plus its sequel). The world will be in full 3D and apparently tails will be a big part of the game. The Tanooki suit has been confirmed to return too.
