EA has confirmed that they will be releasing a patch for the PC version of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. The patch will be released early next week, according to the game’s developer Criterion. Bethesda has confirmed that the upcoming Dead Money DLC for New Vegas will raise the level cap to 35. It will add new perks and achievements for the game too. The DLC will be a timed exclusive for the 360, due out on 21st December. Dead Money lets players take part in a casino heist with three other captured wastelanders.

Crystal Dynamics has released an update for the PS3 version of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The update adds the ability to play the game via online co-op, a full month after the feature was added to the 360 version. 360 owners will get a free DLC pack for having to wait for the co-op patch. It’s not currently known if PS3 owners will get the same treatment.

Square Enix has slapped a European date on Mindjack, stating that it will be released on 21st January 2011. It’s currently in development at Japanese outfit feelplus for the PS3 and 360. It’s a shooter that lets players hack into soldiers, civilians, robots, weaponry, etc. Multiplayer has the typical modern day experience points gimmick to content with.
The Assassin’s Creed series is one that we’ve always enjoyed. While the original was a bit repetitive, II was absolutely lovely. It managed to hone in the story elements whilst simultaneously offering a diverse range of things to do. Disappointingly, the PS3 version was a bit everywhere but it didn’t detract from one of this generations best games. We’re pleased to report that Brotherhood continues on from II’s good work.
