EA has announced Madden NFL 3DS. It’s their first game for the new handheld and will be accompanying the 3DS’ launch in the first half of 2011. The 3DS is currently down for a March release in the US and Europe, so expect it around then. EA has confirmed that they have been cooking away on a new patch for FIFA 11. It will be released on 12th November on the PS3 and 17th November on the 360. The patch will make the offside rule more accurate, improve shooting from weak volleys and eliminate “micro-pausing” amongst other fixes. The fixes will span across all of the game’s modes. Capcom has confirmed that their next MotoGP title will be released in March 2011 for the PS3 and 360. It’s currently in development over at Monumental Games and adds player assistance alongside co-op. The co-op mode allows friends to jump to race via split-screen to help your team win. Harmonix has decided that enough is enough, stating that they will only produce DLC for Rock Band 3. New tracks won’t be available on older games in the series for the first time in the franchise. Harmonix claims that there are new authoring standards, new instruments and new in-game venues and lighting to program for.
