Top Gear has signed a long-term deal to collaborate to future Forza Motorsport games. The show will be integrated in upcoming Forzas, with co-promotions going on between the two to get petrol heads all hot and bothered. Activision has finally officially confirmed their new NASCAR game. It is in development over at Eutechnyx and is currently known as “NASCAR The Game 2011”, according to the title’s official site. Ubisoft has officially revealed that they’re working on a few 3DS titles. Driver 3D, Combats of Dinosaur 3D, Ghost Recon Tactics and Splinter Cell 3D are the games in question. They are all currently down for a spring 2011 release in Japan. They’ll probably be here around the same time, seeing as they’re mostly western-based titles.
Ubisoft has announced that they will be releasing a high definition version of Beyond Good & Evil on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Essentially, it will be the same game that was released in 2003 but in HD. However, achievements/trophies, online leaderboards and a re-mastered soundtrack will be chucked in. It’s not currently known when this version will be released or how much it’ll cost.
SEGA has today sent word that the Super Monkey Ball series will be returning exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The game is currently in development over at SEGA Studio Japan. Activision has finally confirmed that Zombies will be in Call of Duty: Black Ops. The wave-based co-op mode will once again support up to four players. LucasArts has bizarrely unveiled that gamers will be able to play as Guybrush Threepwood in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Quite a few European online retailers have started showing listings for a 320GB PlayStation 3 Slim bundled with a copy of Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Edition. Amazon and Play are currently selling the bundle for £284.99. We’re not sure if this is an official bundle yet, but given the series’ sales we won’t be betting against it.

Nintendo has released a snazzy little video that shows off the 3DS’ system menu doing stuff an iPhone could only dream of. The video highlights the 3DS’ multi-tasking ability and tag mode, where multiple devices can connect and share data out and about in the street without actually having to touch them. Nintendo has finally confirmed that the off again/on again Ocarina of Time 3DS port is now most definitely on (again). Its new title is “Ocarina of Time 3D” (imaginative) and it will be released sometime in spring 2011, at least in Japan. Footage of the game appears at the end of a video reel showcasing the 3DS’ software line-up, which we’re about to post.
