Microsoft has confirmed reports that they will be releasing a new Xbox 360 Wireless controller with an improved d-pad. Square Enix has released three multiplayer add-ons for Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days. The most expensive of which is the Doggie Bag Pack, which will set you back 560 Allards on 360 or $5.99 on the PC and PS3. Atlus has been dissolved by parent company Index Holdings, according to a press release issued by the company today. Atlus are the folks that created the Shin Megami Tensai series and published a few Japanese RPGs in North America, including Demon’s Souls. Disney has announced that the US version of TRON: Evolution will be released on 7th December. The launch is ahead of the TRON: Legacy film, which will be hitting screens on 17th December. Team Meat has confirmed that Super Meat Boy will be debuting on the Xbox Live Arcade on October 20th. The game will be part of a new Microsoft Game Studios promotion called “Game Feast”. Apparently, Super Meat Boy will be the main course in the Game Feast.

The list of Xbox 360 achievements for Fallout: New Vegas has been unveiled. The list includes a few interesting potential big gamerscore achievements, with 100 points being dished out for those that complete the game in Hardcore mode. The full list of achievements is available after the jump.

The official website for Space Invaders: Infinity Gene has confirmed that the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade versions of the game will be released next month. Infinity Gene was released on the iPhone last year and it received good reviews from critics.

Nintendo has confirmed that they will be lowering the price of the Nintendo DSi in the US. From September 12th, the DSi will have an RRP of $150 in the states. That’s basically $20 off the current price. The DSi XL will follow suit, with a cut from $190 to $170. The DS Lite will remain at $130. Gearbox Software has announced a “Game of the Year Edition” of Borderlands. The re-release is coming to the 360, PS3 and PC on October 12th. It will include all four DLC add-ons, as well as a foldout map of the game world. The 360 and PS3 versions will set you back $60, whereas the PC version is going for $50. Nintendo has slapped a 29th November US release date on Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. The DS RPG still hasn’t got a European date yet, but we played a build when we visited Nintendo in London a few weeks ago and it seemed to be pretty polished. Major Nelson has announced that Microsoft is doing the unthinkable and raising Xbox Live Gold subscription prices. The new prices will be starting November 1st 2010 and will be affecting members in Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and the United States. Here are the new fees: Subscriptions that aren’t in the table won’t be changed apparently, so the UK 12 month subscription will be officially staying at £39.99 (for now).
