Edinburgh Interactive has today announced that The Creative Assembly will demo Shogun 2: Total War at this year’s Edinburgh Interactive. There will be an audience Q&A for the game, and it is part of this year’s public evening screenings programme. According to Sucker Punch developers, and development director, Chris Zimmerman, Infamous 2 is not possible on the Xbox 360 platform. According to CVG.com, he said in a recent interview “There’s just more processing power on the PS3. Xbox Live Gold members can pick up Mega Man 10 for 400 Allards (50% off), Afterburner Climax for 400 Allards (50% off), Scrap Metal for 800 Allards (33% off) and Death by Cube for 400 Allards (50% off).

GameSpy has gathered some interesting Red Dead Redemption stats in a handy infographic. The funniest one is that someone was murdered in-game every six minutes during the first two weeks of the game’s release. The total number of murders is at a steady 132,904,068. The original Crackdown was deemed as a tour de force of modern day gaming. It was a collectathon/superhero game for the 21st Century, according to some folk. Sony will release a demo for Patapon 3 this week. The multiplayer demo will hit the US PlayStation Store tomorrow (6th July), and Europe on 7th July. Patapon 3 was announced in a fleeting PSP montage at Sony’s E3 Press Briefing. The multiplayer demo will allow players to play the game locally with like-minded rhythm enthusiasts or over the internet.

EA has confirmed that the next piece of Skate 3 downloadable content will be released tomorrow. It’s entitled “Danny Way’s Hawaiian Dream”, and has 24 new challenges, new skate park objects, Danny Way skating stuff and a Danny Way character. A price for the content hasn’t been announced, but the last DLC (Maloof Money Cup) for the game cost 400 Allards.

The guys and girls handling the Develop Brighton conference have confirmed that Peter Molyneux will be demoing Fable III at the event. The Develop Conference takes place 13-15 July at Brighton’s Hilton Metropole. Molyneux’s Fable III talk is titled “Fable III: Story, Cast and Simulation” and takes place on Thursday 15 July at 13:30.
