Atari has confirmed that Test Drive Unlimited 2 is going to be released on 21st September for the PC, PS3 and 360 in the US. It will be hitting UK retailers on 24th September. Namco Bandai has announced that Puzzle Quest 2 will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade on 23rd June and on the DS on 22nd June (in the US) and 16th July (in Europe). Puzzle Quest 2 includes new weapons, rewards and mini-games, as well as a new third-person RPG over-world.

The third collection of Steam for Mac launch titles is now available on the service. This week’s collection focuses on Steam Cloud, which allows players to save their game progress on one computer, then resume from that save point on another computer (Mac or PC). 2K Games has announced a Collector’s Edition for Mafia II across all formats. It contains a steelbook case, a Made Man DLC pack (containing two cars and two new made man suits), a hardcover art book, an orchestral soundtrack, and a map of Empire Bay. SEGA has today announced Sonic Colours for the Wii and DS. It’s a brand new Sonic title, with the blue hedgehog tasked with racing through a theme park to rescue alien creatures from Dr Eggman (I bet you didn’t see that coming). Team17 have announced Alien Breed: Impact for the PlayStation 3 and PC. It will be hitting the PlayStation Store on the PS3 and Steam on the PC this summer, and is an expanded edition of the Xbox Live Arcade game Alien Breed: Evolution. Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Lite for the iPhone and iPod Touch on the app store. The release is basically a free demo of the full £6 version, and contains three levels of the game.

Valve has announced that Half-Life 2 is hitting Steam for Mac today. The company hasn’t confirmed how much it’ll set Mac gamers back or if Episodes 1 & 2 will be available today as well. The PC version of Half Life 2 is $20 on Steam. Here’s the announcement teaser Valve sent out:

The Black Market Boom Pack for Just Cause 2 is now available for download on the PlayStation Store (€1.99/£1.60/$1.99), Steam (€1.99/£1.60/$1.99) and the Xbox Live Marketplace (160 Allards). It includes three prototype weapons; the Quad Rocket Launcher; the Cluster Bomb Launcher and the Air Propulsion Gun.

Insomniac Games has signed a multi-platform deal with EA Partners for an upcoming new franchise. The developers are the people behind both the Resistance and Ratchet & Clank series’. Sony has announced that Killzone 3 is in development, after magazine scans have leaked it this week. It will feature jetpacks, ice levels and 3D modes with the PS3’s fancy new upcoming 3D support.
