Microsoft and PrimeSense have confirmed that PrimeSense is going to provide the 3D-sensing technology for Project Natal. PrimeSense deems themselves as “the leader in 3D sensing and recognition technologies”. THQ has confirmed that Darksiders will be released on the PC this June. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were released in the first week of January, and original developer Vigil Games are back on the helm for the PC port. Penny Arcade’s Gabe and Tycho have confirmed that the Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness has been canned. This announcement comes after sales figures have been reported to be lagging behind expectations and Hothead’s full schedule handling the development of DeathSpank. Penny Arcade will be finishing the series’ story on their website, but haven’t confirmed which format it will be in.
Microsoft has announced this week’s Xbox 360 games on demand. Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore 2, Hitman: Blood Money and Ultimate Championship 2009 are all available on Xbox Live today.
